曾焯文:曼德拉效應之東亞病夫 Chapman Chen: Mandela Effect on East Asia Invalids

曼德拉效應指人(通常為一班人)對於某些歷史事物的記憶不符今下現實歷史及其他人的記憶,懷疑由於平衡宇宙干擾,從源頭改變了歷史,換言之,原物、原片、原文全部改變。(其實,基於大量證據,我懷疑吾人已捲入另一宇宙,下文再詳述。)受曼德效應影響者,好難證明舊版本的確存在過,只能依靠自己及同道的記憶,以及未受效應影響的二次創作及轉述文獻。曼德拉效應外國例多,香港例少,本文介紹三、四個香港影視例子,包括李小龍精武門「中國人唔係東亞病夫!」變「中國人唔係病夫!」;「我讀得書少,你唔好呃我」變「我少讀書,你唔好呃我」。蔡楓華「一剎那光輝唔等於永恆」變「一時光輝未必係永恆嘅」。在港上映臺灣片《那些年,我們一起追過的女孩》戲名變《那些年,我們一起追的女孩》。Mandela Effect refers to a group of people’s memory concerning a certain historical event being contradictory to the corresponding record in this reality and to other people’s memory. The cause is suspected to be interference by a parallel universe, which has changed our history starting from its very origin, including the original object, video, and written record. (In fact, based on a lot of convincing evidence, I suspect that we have already been transferred to another universe. Will talk about this in more detail in the coming articles.) It is very difficult for those affected by the Mandela Effect to prove that the old version really existed. They can only rely on their own and similar people’s memories, plus re-creations, secondary records, and art works based on the original. As there are already many Western examples of the Mandela Effect, this article will talk about Hong Kong examples, especially in the field of drama, including, Bruce Lee’s quote in Fist of Fury (1972), “Chinese are not East Asia invalids” having become “Chinese are not invalids”; another quote of Bruce Lee’s in the same movie, “I am educated to a small degree, don’t you cheat me” having transformed into “I am little educated…”; the HK singer, Kenneth Choi’s (1985) quote, “A ksana’s brilliance is not equal to an eternity,” having turned into “A moment’s brilliance is not necessarily eternal; and the Chinese Title of the Taiwan romance movie (2010), “The Girl we have Chased in Those Years”, having changed into “The Girl we Chased in Those Years”.

曼德拉效應名稱由來係二零一零年,美國博客菲安娜.布梅(FIONA BROOME) 明明記得南非曼德拉八十年代死於獄中,但赫然發現曼德拉未死,而且出獄後做過南非總統,其後布梅在某博覽會上撞到不少人,對曼德拉有相同記憶,甚至記得八十年代見過電視直播曼德拉喪禮,以至於南非因曼德拉之死而發生暴動。布梅於是叫這種神秘現象做曼德拉效應。

曼德拉效應外國例子好多,例如名牌ADDIDAS,好多人記得係三個D,但而今的現實係兩個D: ADIDAS。又如荷李活巨片沉默的羔羊,好多人記得英文戲名係 Silence of the Lamb, 但如今現實係前面多了個THE字。

曼德拉效應本地例子少過外國,本文會介紹其中三四個,主要集中影視方面,例如香港電影精武門(羅維一九七二年導演),李小龍飾演陳真,單人匹馬到上海日本虹口道場踢館,打低幾十名日本空手道高手後,霸氣道: 「中國人唔係東亞病夫!」https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwSKwdeoNT8 此金句所有香港人都記憶猶新,一九九一年,周星馳拍港產片段新精武門,一九九五年甄子丹拍亞視劇集精武門,都重復這句對白,但如今原片相關對白已變成「中國人唔係病夫!」少了「東亞」二字,而由於「東亞」的「東」字屬陰平,氣勢大減。原片改了的意思並非電影公司或DVD公司重新配音改了對白,而係全世界人手上的精武門原片視頻都自動改變對白!

另一例子來自精武門結尾,陳真(李小龍)為救同門,要上海市長應承,如陳真行出門口受死(日人在門外伏擊),上海市長須保其同門平安,其中重點對白為: 「我讀得書少,你唔好呃我。」此金句原為港人長期津津樂道,但如今睇返原片,已變成「我少讀書,你唔好呃我。」其實,「我少讀書」不大合乎粵語語法,絕少廣東人會咁講。

另一例子係: 一九八五年勁歌金曲第二季選,張國榮有三首歌獲獎,蔡楓華主持頒獎時講了句:「一剎那光輝唔等於永恆」https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1l5fUqnkH4,翌日全港報紙都報導此語,觸怒無線高層將其雪藏,影藝事業從此一落千丈,此語由是深入絕大部份港人腦海。二零一七年,有人上載當年錄影片段,大家赫然發現蔡楓華講的係: 「一時光明未必係永恆嘅」,與大部份人記憶不符。而蔡楓華本人在二零一一及一二年接受訪問時,亦都重復一剎那光輝唔等於永恆的金句。

再一例: 二零一零年,九把刀導演臺灣青春愛情片《那些年,我們一起追過的女孩》,當年在香港上映,大受歡迎。我無睇過套戲,但對其戲名印象深刻,當年曾在中環地鐵站內凝視其海報戲名多時,事關覺得「那些年」係惡性西化中文,直譯in those years,清通漢文當作「當年」,因此清楚記得戲名,但而今上網搜尋,海報戲名已變成《那些年,我們一起追的女孩》,少了過字,雖然仍可尋得一些《那些年,我們一起追過的女孩》之標題,但內容竟亦已全變成那些年,我們一起追的女孩!

上述戲名未變的標題,係殘餘痕跡,證明此戲軌未受曼德拉效應影響前的模樣。另一證據係中國大陸歌手二零一零年向上述電影致敬,發行歌曲「那些年,我們一起追過的女孩」。再者,粵語同文言興單音節詞,臺灣同大陸講普通話/國語,興雙音節詞,所以寫「一起追過」的機會應大於寫「一起追」。
